About us

Our story began on a cold Saturday evening in November 2016. I stood in front of the Town and Country market on Lakemont Blvd raising money by selling my handmade crafts. While people were streaming in and out of the store, I was asking them to donate to Operation Christmas Child. At first, I was anxious about approaching strangers, but before I knew it, I felt completely at ease because of their overflowing kindness and generosity. After being there for three evenings, I raised ~ 300 dollars and was able to support six children by filling up a shoebox full of clothes, toiletries, and games for each.

The overwhelming support I received from our community not only encouraged me to return for more nights of fundraising but also convinced me to carry this mission forward for the years to come. Therefore, this was turned into an annual tradition for us. In 2018, my younger sister joined me officially and made this a two-person team. We are extremely grateful to our community in helping us raising roughly 1600 dollars in the past four years. Your generosity has allowed us to help ~ 50 kids in need around the world.

This year, COVID-19 has stopped us from going out with our fundraising stand, but the need is greater than ever! We are moving online and will be making handmade greeting cards. If you decide to support us, we will gather the donation via Paypal and then mail or drop off the items at your door. All the items are handmade and we use the best quality materials we can afford.
